Under-Seat Storage

The cargo bed can hold a lot. But there's storage under the rear seat if you need more space - or if you just prefer to keep your snack packs or sports gear inside the cab.

Redesigned Doors

Clever use of space means you can find storage throughout Maverick®. There's even a a custom-designed door pocket sized just right for a 1.5L water bottle.

Exterior

FLEXBED® Storage System

The FLEXBED® Storage System lets you organize and secure your gear your way. Available Ford Accessories fit right in for even more utility. The tie-downs even double as bottle openers.

Multi-Position Tailgate

The Multi-Position Tailgate can be locked half-closed to line up perfectly with the wheel wells, so you can tie longer items down flat.

In-Bed Cubby Storage

Standard on Maverick XLT and above, this flexible storage area adds even more utility to the cargo bed.* Lariat models include a second compartment on the driver's side.

Beautifully versatile, just like the people who drive it.

In-Bed Power

The two standard pre-wired 12-volt connections can keep a mini-fridge or other essentials humming. Meanwhile, an available 400-watt, 110-volt outlet let you charge your devices or power a drill or air pump.

LED Projector Headlamps

See the road ahead clearly with LED Projector Headlamps - while LED Accent Lights help ensure you can be seen clearly, too. Standard on Lariat® model.

2025 Ford Maverick-Frequently Asked Questions

 Q.    What's new for the 2025 Maverick?
 A.     The 2025 model introduces several important updates:
  • Hybrid AWD is now available, pairing the fuel-efficient 2.5 L hybrid powertrain (191 hp / 155 lb‑ft) with all‑wheel drive for the first time-a major customer request.
  • A modern 13.2-inch Sync 4 touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 5 G LTE connectivity is now standard across trims.
  • New trim levels including Lobo™ (sport-styled) and Tremor (off-road focused) join the lineup, along with updated exterior styling and technology.

 Q.    What engines are available and how much can the Maverick tow?
 A.    Two powertrains are offered, and towing capacity varies accordingly:
  • The 2.5 L hybrid engine (standard on XL, XLT, and Lariat) delivers excellent fuel economy-EPA‐estimated up to 40 MPG city with AWD-and supports basic utility towing up to 2,000 lbs.
  • The 2.0 L EcoBoost turbo‑charged inline‑4 (250 hp / 275 lb‑ft) is available with AWD and, when paired with the 4K Tow Package, boosts towing capacity significantly-to 4,000 lbs.
  • Notably, AWD hybrid models are flat‑tow capable (four wheels on the ground) when "neutral tow" mode is engaged-but Ford recommends this only for short, emergency moves, pending updated owner manual guidance.

 Q.    Does Falcon include advanced trailering tech and how about towing-related features?
 A.    Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist are now available, using cameras and radar to help guide hitching and trailer backing-displayed on the         13.2″ screen.

Lane centering/assist is deactivated while towing-a decision Ford made for safety reasons across its lineup. Many users have raised this as a common         concern in forums.

The FX4 Off-Road Package and Tremor trim add features like skid plates, locking differential, hill-descent control, and off-road modes for wider   versatility         beyond towing needs.
